This is the leather dog collar to choose for your dog if you’re looking for a hardwearing, top quality handcrafted leather item that is comfortable, strong and long lasting.

Our quality leather dog collar is 3/4 inch (20mm) wide. It is made using full grain veg-tanned bridle leather for strength and durability using classic leatherworking techniques.

Available in black, chocolate or chestnut options.

All our leather dog collars carry a high quality brass buckle and D-ring with complementing rivets.

Your collar will be carefully edge dyed, burnished and edge creased. Then embossed with the Ermestone Leather maker’s mark.

We source all our materials carefully and responsibly.

Custom sizes are available and bespoke collars can be made to order.

Measuring for your custom dog collar

Please be sure to measure your dog’s existing collar carefully using the measuring guide below.
If it’s not possible to measure an existing collar then measure with a tape measure loosely around your dog’s neck where the collar is normally worn. Measure with two fingers inside the tape to give a comfortable fit.

On your current collar, measure in inches from the inside edge of the buckle to the hole you use most.

Care of your leather dog collar

Before it leaves the workshop your collar will be treated with a final finish of leather care. Then it will be carefully wrapped and despatched to you.

Take good care of your leather dog collar and your collar will serve you well in return.
When it gets wet, towel dry and then let your collar dry naturally (not near a radiator or other heat source). Leather will naturally soften and darken with use. We recommend that you nourish your collar from time to time with a leather conditioner to keep it supple and looking its very best.
